Joint Replacement

Joint replacement, also known as arthroplasty, is a surgical where a damaged or dysfunctional joint is replaced with a prosthetic implant. It's typically done to relieve pain and restore function in joints that have been severely damaged by arthritis, injury, or other conditions. The most common joints replaced are the hip and knee, but other joints like the shoulder, elbow, and ankle can also be replaced. Joint replacement surgery is usually considered after other treatments, such as medication, physical therapy, and lifestyle changes
