Paralysis

Paralysis refers to the loss of muscle function in part of your body. It can be partial or complete, temporary or permanent, and can affect one or both sides of the body. Paralysis can occur as a result of damage to the nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. This damage disrupts the communication between the brain and muscles, leading to loss of voluntary movement and sensation in the affected area. Depending on the underlying cause of paralysis, preventive measures may include lifestyle modifications, injury prevention strategies, vaccination against infectious diseases, and management of underlying medical conditions to reduce the risk of complications or further neurological damage.
